Our behaviour specialist services support children, teenagers and adults to understand and change unwanted behavioursuAt times we all resort to using unwanted behaviours. These can simply be described as any action, thought, emotion, or inaction that we would prefer not to be using. This can range from more intense, extreme melt-down behaviours such as temper-tantrums, depression, anti-social behaviour, drug and alcohol addiction, bullying and control issues, through to more outwardly mild behaviours such as anxiousness, unhealthy eating, lack of confidence or running on stress.
It is important that these behaviours are understood… and never judged. Our behaviour specialist services are based on the knowing that people are not their behaviours. At the heart of every person is an awesome, amazing and loveable being. We are born this way and it is unchangeable. It is, however, the reality of life that our behaviours may not always match the beautiful being that we truly are… and many people require support to develop the skills to be able to choose behaviours that match their true essence. |
In our experience people resort to using unwanted behaviours when they are presented with challenging situations in life that they do not feel fully equipped to deal with. Our Behaviour Specialist services support people to identify these challenging situations and take responsibility for building ways to truly enjoy their everyday life.
Our behaviour specialist Tanya Curtis works with those with low intensity unwanted behaviours through to extreme high intensity behaviours. She is highly experienced working with people of all ages, from children through to teenagers and adults. She is renowned for supporting lasting behaviour change in tough cases that others had all but given up on. Tanya’s approach is not purely based on function, but on meeting the person for who they are and supporting them to develop a quality of vitality, joy and self-responsibility within their life. She assists her clients to develop the tools and life skills to be free to live their full potential.
